We protect the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth so they have safe, stable homes, healthcare and the education they need to survive”
Mandy Teefey has been supporting the Alliance for Children’s Rights along-side her daughter, Selena Gomez, for over 6 years. Both have dedicated their time to raising awareness for their cause to help kids in the foster care system, actively taking steps to help and enrich kids in their communities and around the world. Having been adopted, Mandy knows a loving home is an important key to a child’s development for success and advocates to get kids out of the foster system and into a stable home.

Our vision and mission are global. Our heroes are on the front lines every day working to rescue, restore and rehabilitate child victims out of slavery. Since 2011, we have rescued hundreds of children and their journey to freedom starts in one of our 5 restoration homes located around the world.
Unlikely Heroes is a cause near and dear to Mandy Teefey. She not only has an involvement in the organization, but her daughter, Selena Gomez, as well as KTTCP affiliates and colleagues such as actress Francia Raisa are heavily involved as “heroes” to help protect young children from modern day sex abuse and slavery. Mandy has been advocating for Unlikely Heroes for numerous years and it is one of many charities that she supports knowing that children are our future and to protect our future is to protect our children.
